We are delighted to announce that Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) had the privilege of attending the World Climate Summit from November 9th to November 13th, 2022, at the invitation of the Egyptian Ministry of Environment and the Cabinet of Ministers. The delegation was headed by Mr. Khalid Altoukhy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and included Prof. Ashraf Haider, President of the University, and Prof. Sherif Rifat, Vice President for Student Affairs.

During the summit, MUST delegation had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Maria Nera, Vice President of the World Health Organization, to discuss the impact of climate change on public health and explore ways to address this pressing issue. The delegation shared their insights and research on the matter, highlighting the need for joint efforts and collaboration to mitigate the effects of climate change on health.

The event was an excellent opportunity for MUST to contribute to the global effort to combat climate change and protect the health of citizens worldwide. The university is proud to participate in the event and looks forward to progressive collaboration with international organizations to address this critical issue.
