Under the patronage of Mr. Khaled El-Toukhy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Nihad Al-Mahboub, Acting President of the University; Dr. Mervat Mohamed Gamal, Director of the Psychological Guidance Unit and the Support Unit for Special Needs; The Psychological Guidance Unit hosted an event on Wednesday, 11/8/2023, in front of the College of Media building (MC) at the university campus, which was about rumors and psychological wars and their impact on mental health. The team informed the university students about psychological wars, their causes, and their most important means, rumors. In addition, the “rumors” concept was defined, and the causes of rumors and their impact on mental health, behavioral change, and beliefs were discussed, along with how to solve and avoid their problems and raise awareness of black propaganda and Fourth Generation Warfare. A large number of students attended and were made aware of this topic. Khatwa Team had organized the event.
