The Ministry of Higher Education witnessed the celebration of approval of the accreditation from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh for the Faculty of Medicine and Oral and Dental Surgery – Misr University for Science and Technology on Thursday 24th of November 2022

In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Ayman Ashour, and Dr. Philip Taylor, Dean of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, at the Ministry Headquarters in the Special Education Building in the Fifth Settlement.

The Minister praised the success of the Faculty of Medicine and Oral and Dental Surgery – Misr University for Science and Technology – in passing the initial accreditation from the Royal College of Edinburgh as a qualified center to provide the necessary training to be qualified for obtaining a Membership Certificate from the Royal College of Surgeons

Passing the standards of the Royal College and achieving accreditation requirements as a sign of the quality of educational and medical services at Misr University for Science and Technology.

Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour confirmed the keenness of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to conclude many international cooperation protocols and partnerships with a strong reputation, with the aim of exchanging experiences in various fields, especially the Royal College of Edinburgh, which is considered one of the largest colleges in the United Kingdom.At the end of the activities of this event, His Excellency handed over the certificate presented by the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh to the President of Misr University for Science and Technology, Prof. Ashraf Haidar Ghaleb, and in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Oral and Dental Surgery, Prof. Hala El Menoufy and the Media Advisor of the Ministry, Dr. Mahmoud Kahil.
