Upon the gracious invitation of His Excellency the Minister of Health and Population, Professor Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, to the colleges of the medical sector, to attend a special event of great importance, which is crowning Egypt as the first country in the world to achieve the elimination of the hepatitis C virus on Monday, October 9th, 2023
Professor Hala El Menoufy, Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, was present. Also, among the guests were the deans of the university’s medical sector, Prof. Nihad Al-Mahboub, Dean of the College of Medicine and acting University President, Prof. Rehab Abdel Moneim, Dean of the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Manufacturing, Prof. Niveen Samir, Dean of the College of Nursing, and Prof. Hanan Gewefel, Dean of the College of Applied Health Science Technology.
