In a huge celebration and a joyful atmosphere, the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, Misr University for Science and Technology celebrated the graduation of the 22nd batch for the academic year 2022/2023. The ceremony was held in the presence of Prof. Ashraf Haider, President of the University, Prof. Sherif Refaat, Vice President for Education Affairs, Prof. Mokhtar El-Zawahri, Vice President for Follow-up and Documentation, and Prof. Hala El-Menoufy, Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery.
Prof. Ashraf Haider, President of Misr University for Science and Technology, thanked Mr. Khaled El-Toukhy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for providing full support to students during their educational stages, congratulating the students on their graduation. Prof. Haider thanked and greeted the faculty members who acted as parents for all students during their study period.
Prof. Hala El Menoufy, Dean of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, welcomed the guests of the ceremony, and stated that the college has had many achievements at all levels in various sectors, including the opening of Must Digital Center at the College of Oral and Dental Surgery. The Must Digital Center is the first of its kind in Egypt, where educational programs will be taught in this advanced specialty in dentistry; and the Fellowship of Digital Dentistry is taught in cooperation with professors and experts in this field from the University of Genoa in Italy. Prof. Hala mentioned that the university graduates from previous batches have assumed significant positions, including the graduate of the 2008 batch, Dr. Mohamed Emara, Regional manager at KEER DENTAL Company for Africa & Middle East.
The ceremony included a special segment in which foreign students at the College of Oral and Dental Surgery gave a speech, stressing on the high level of support they enjoyed throughout their study period, indicating how happy they were to study at Misr University for Science and Technology.
