Under the patronage and guidance of His Excellency Mr. Khaled Al-Toukhi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Misr University for Science and Technology,
With the support of His Excellency Professor Dr. Nihad Al-Mahboub, Acting President of the University, And under the supervision of Her Excellency Professor Dr. Rania Abdel-Rahman Al-Gohary, Dean of the College of Information Technology, The College of Information Technology, MUST, participated in the official competition that was held under the title “Benha Hackathon for Emerging Technologies” to empower people of determination in the path of health and sports, which was launched by Benha University, sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and for which the final qualifiers were held at the Benha University headquarters, Benha City, Qalyubia Governorate, from February 10, 2024, until February 13, 2024. The participants were from 30 Egyptian universities, represented by 185 teams partaking in the competition.The results of the competition revealed the Misr University of Science and Technology team as the first-place winner at the level of private universities and fourth at the level of Egyptian universities, with the project titled: PRODUCTION OF PROSTHETIC LIMBS-THROUGH 3D PRINTERS. The project aims to produce prosthetic limbs using a 3D printer for differently abled people at the most economical cost
