The College of Oral and Dental Surgery at Misr University for Science and Technology has participated in the International Dental Conference IDCO as an academic partner, thanks to the kind invitation of Prof. Hala El Menoufy, Dean of the College, by Prof. Ahmed Gamal, President of the Egyptian Academy of Periodontology. Under the auspices of the Egyptian Academy of Periodontology, the conference was supported by the organization and graced by His Excellency the Minister of Health and Population, Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, who highlights scientific research and innovation.
A number of staff members of the College of Oral and Dental Surgery took part in the poster competition. Dr. Sarah Shaheen, a lecturer in the department of conservative dentistry, and Dr. Mahinaz Reda, a lecturer in the division of Oral Medicine, Periodontology, Oral Diagnosis, and Radiology, represented the college.
Additionally, a number of staff members took part in the lectures that were held in the conference. These included Prof. Ahmed Gamal, professor of Periodontology, Oral Medicine, and Oral Diagnosis; Prof. Naglaa Al-Kilani, professor of Periodontology, Oral Medicine, and Oral Diagnosis and the director of the Misr University of Science and Technology’s Laser Center; Dr. Radwa Al-Sharif, lecturer of Periodontology, Oral Medicine, and Oral Diagnosis; and Dr. Manal Abdel Baqi, a lecturer of Endodontics
