With the approaching of the 1st of October, which was designated by the United Nations as International Day for old people within the framework of fulfilling the promises of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights regarding the elderly across generations, the Medical Convoy Committee was commissioned by the Dean of the College, Prof. Hala El Menoufi and Prof. Hassan Al-Shami, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Affairs. On Friday, September 29th, 2023, Misr University of Science and Technology announced that the faculties of the medical sector, represented by the College of Medicine, the College of Oral and Dental Surgery, the College of Pharmacy, and the College of Physiotherapy, would be welcoming the elderly to provide them with health care by each college according to its specializations for the elderly. The College of Oral and Dental Surgery representatives, who were present at the meeting activities, explained the college readiness in its various departments to receive this valuable segment of our elderly citizens, who gave so much to their country, and the time has come to return their favor. Not only on October 1st, but every Sunday and Thursday at noon in the diagnostic clinic on the first floor of the college; this is in preparation for distributing them to the college specialized clinics to diagnose and treat various cases of dislocations, fixed and removable prosthetics, fillings, root canal, gum treatment, and others. May God protect them all from the evil of diseases and grant them good health.
