On July 12th, 2023, the College of Oral and Dental Surgery hosted the First Scientific Symposium for Implant Fellowship Graduates, which was sponsored by Verdent company and attended by several professors and the heads of the college departments and divisions.
In an opening speech, Dean Prof. Hala El-Menoufy welcomed the attendees. The college was honoured by the attendance of Prof. Ashraf Haidar, President of the University, who delivered a speech regarding the importance of developing the field of scientific research at the university. The scientific day then began with an important lecture about dental implants by Prof. Ahmed Gamal, Professor of Oral Medicine and Periodontology at Misr University for Science and Technology. On this day, a scientific competition was organized in which the significant clinical cases of the fellowship graduates from the four batches were presented, and the best three participants were chosen, as the judgement committee comprised of:
