Seeking for pursuing its leading cultural role, Misr University for Science and Technology participated with its diverse publications in Cairo International Book Fair (55th edition) at Egypt International Exhibition and Conference Center in New Cairo, in Hall 1, Pavilion C45. The pavilion had a significant turnout of visitors for the new publications of the university’s publishing center and the Center of Editing Arabic Heritage, which include:
- “Al-Rihla Al-Wafa’iya fi Al-Madrasa Al-Tibbiya” (الرحلة الوفائية في المدرسة الطبية), which is the first medical school in the modern era in Abi Zaabal during the time of Muhammad Ali Pasha. Authored by Hassan Wafa’i Al-Baghdadi, Edited Dr. Mahmoud Mahdi.
- “Husn Al-Jam’ fi Ma Qeel fi Qasr Al-Sham'” (حُسن الجمع فيما قيل في قصر الشمع), Authored by Mikhail ibn Nicola ibn Ibrahim Al-Sabbagh, and Edited by Iman Abu Saleem and Sahar Abdel Aati.
- “Kalimat Rabi wa Tajaliyatiha fi Al-Afak wa fi Al-Anfus” (كلمات ربي وتجلياتها في الآفاق وفي الأنفس ), Authored by Dr. Ahmed Fouad Pasha.
- “Al-Multaqat min Mustalahat Al-Nabat wa Al-Falahah wa Al-Zira’ah Bayn Al-Turath wa Al-Mu’asirah – Illustrated Conceptual Dictionary” (الملتقط من مصطلحات النبات والفلاحة والزراعة بين التراث والمعاصرة – معجم مفاهيمي مصور), compiled by Dr. Mahmoud Mahdi, and Reviewed by Dr. Husseini Al-Jundi.
It is worth shedding light on that the university’s publications, produced by the Publishing Center and the Center of Editing Arabic Heritage, have enriched the Arabic library with a total of 63 publications. Among them, the encyclopedia “Al-Shudhur Al-Dhahabiyya fi Al-Alfadh Al-Tibbiya” (الشذور الذهبية في الألفاظ الطبية), 5 volumes, has won the Book of the Year Award in Heritage editing for the year 2023. Additionally, the best-edited book award for the year 2019 was granted to the book “Al-Mughni fi Al-Adwiyah Al-Mufarradah Al-Nafi’a min Al-Amrad” (المغني في الأدوية المفردة النافعة من الأمراض) by Ibn al-Baytar.
Also, the book “Talakhis Al-Bayan fi Mujazat Al-Quran” (تلخيص البيان في مجازات القرآن) won the Award for the Best Edited Book by the Arab Language Academy. And among the newly edited publications is the book “Lata’if Al-Mann fi Manaqib Abi Al-Abbas Al-Mursi wa Shaykhihi Abi Al-Hasan Al-Shadhili”(لطائف المنن في مناقب أبي العباس المرسي وشيخه أبي الحسن الشاذلي).
Among the prominent publications displayed at the exhibition pavilion are:

- “Tarikh Al-Tibb Al-Arabi” (تاريخ الطب العربي )
- “Al-Jami’ li Mufarradat Al-Adwiyah wa Al-Aghdhiyah” (الجامع لمفردات الأدوية والأغذية )
- “Lawaqih Al-Anwar fi Tabaqat Al-Akhyaar” (لواقح الأنوار في طبقات الأخيار المعروف باسم الطبقات الكبرى )
- “Al-Imam Al-Shafi’i wa Tajdid Al-Ru’ya Al-Fiqhiyya” (الإمام الشافعي وتجديد الرؤية الفقهية )
- “Encyclopedia of Ancient Egypt” (موسوعة مصر القديمة ) in 8 volumes.
