- Under the supervision of Professor Luca Solimi from the University of Genova, the Fourth Module of the Digital Dentistry Fellowship was held for the first time in Egypt and the Middle East in the Laser Center of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Surgery – Misr University for Science and Technology on Thursday, 19th January 2023 for 3 consecutive days.
- The Module included theoretical lectures and their related clinical sessions which are:
• Digital Smile Analysis & DSD Photography.
• Scanning on CEREC.
• Partial Restorations in Restorative Dentistry.
• Scanning and CAD-CAM P.
• Partial Restorations Luting Procedures and CAM Restorations Stain and Glaze.
The candidates applied the practical and clinical part in the DIGITAL LAB of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Surgery at Misr University for Science and Technology, which is highly equipped with the latest technologies, under the supervision of Professor Luca Solimi.
The topics applied in the workshops were:
• Hands-on Partial Restorations in Restorative Dentistry
• Hands-on Scanning Prepared Teeth and Designing CAD Restorations
• Hands-on Finishing Composite CAM Restoration and Cementing Partial Restoration
